The Cluck Stop
One of Durango’s most popular food trucks, The Cluck Stop, the chicken concept Griffin Keim launched at Durango’s 11th Street Station nearly three years ago, has opened a second location at Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa.
The new poolside location is open for lunch and dinner and features a menu created specifically for Durango Hot Springs. Alongside its signature chicken tenders, sliders, and sandwiches, the menu includes salads, lettuce wraps, a veggie plate with hummus, fruit plates, and soft serve with soda floats. A signature drink menu includes the Hot Springs Coconut Dr Pepper, Cherry Coke Supreme, and Strawberry Sunset Sprite. Guests at the resort can order directly from the pools via QR code and receive a text when their food is ready.
“Opening at the hot springs gives us the opportunity to expand what we do,” Keim said. “We’re still rooted in comfort food, but this menu was designed to feel a little lighter and more balanced for the setting.”
The Cluck Stop is open daily at Durango Hot Springs from 11am – 8pm. Look for it right next to the popular Trimble Pool on the family side of the property.
Bear’s Watershed (concesssions)
Fondly named after a favorite pet of one of Durango Hot Springs’ owners, our concession stand, Bear’s Watershed is the place to grab a drink or a quick snack while soaking. There’s plenty of seating and a cozy fireplace as well!
Look for Bear’s Watershed on the Family side of the property, right at the north end of our resort-style swimming pool.
Bear’s features a wide variety of beverages, from adult beverages like beer, wine and mixed drinks such as Piña Coladas, to soft drinks such as sodas and kid-friendly smoothie-style options.
Bear’s also features breakfast burritos from local company, Uncle’s Fixins.
