General Rules
Keep yourself and your belongings safe. Durango Hot Springs is not responsible for injury or loss.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout your visit.
Any person having an infectious or communicable disease or open wound is prohibited from entering the pools. If you have any medical conditions, please consult your medical doctor before soaking.
Limit your consumption of alcohol. Please remember, long exposure and/or consumption of alcohol may cause dizziness, nausea or fainting.
Outside food, picnics, birthday cakes, food deliveries, etc. are not allowed.
No Drone Zone. Durango Hot Springs is a no drone zone to respect the privacy of our guests while soaking.
Outside alcohol & all drugs are strictly prohibited.
No glass please. Instead, bring a plastic or metal water bottle which can be filled and re-filled for free at our hydration stations in the lobby.
Children up to 15 require adult supervision at all times; children 8 and under must be within arm’s reach of their guardian at all times.

To maximize the benefits of soaking and to ensure your safety and that of our employees, please follow these recommendations. If you have questions about these or other aspects of the property, ask the front desk staff upon arrival or contact us prior to your visit.
*Staff members have the authority to stop any behavior they deem unsafe or inappropriate. Durango Hot Springs reserves the right to refuse service or remove uncooperative patrons from our property.
Soaking Etiquette
Showers are required before entering the pools.
Wear proper swim attire. No street clothes, underwear, pajamas, sweats or anything deemed inappropriate as swimwear by staff is allowed in the pools.
Remove all jewelry or it will tarnish.
No running, diving, excessive noise or boisterous play.
Swim and soak at your own risk when no lifeguard is on duty.
After soaking, your body is tired. A rest time of 30 minutes is recommended.
Fabric discoloration is possible. If this is a concern for you, we recommend bringing an extra swimsuit or wearing last year’s suit to soak at Durango Hot Springs.
Swim diapers are required. They are available at our Front Desk.
Observe a reasonable time limit for your soak; 15 minutes is recommended.
Soaking alone is not recommended.
We do not recommend pregnant women soak in the hot pools and suggest you speak with your physician before doing so.
No flotation devices, non-coast guard approved life jackets or pool toys allowed. They are potentially dangerous and/or disturb other guests.
Spa Etiquette
Reservations
To ensure availability for your preferred services and time, we require booking in advance. All services are reserved specifically for you. A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation and we must have 24-hour advance notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid a full fee charge to your account.
Age Requirement
All guests must be at least 18 years of age to have a private spa treatment. We welcome guests of all ages to enjoy our swimming pool and family friendly soaking pools (with appropriate supervision). Our adult and private soaking pools are reserved for guests 18 and over.
Arrival
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete your intake, rinse off and begin the relaxation process. As a courtesy to the next guest, all treatments will end at the designated time. Should you arrive late for your appointment, your valuable treatment time will be shortened and you will be responsible for the full cost of your service.
Gratuity
For your convenience, a 20% gratuity will be added to your treatment prices upon check-out. Additional gratuities for exceptional service may be added at your discretion.

The Durango Hot Springs Spa is a place to invite peace and relaxation. To ensure we maintain a tranquil environment for each guest, we kindly request you refrain from using your cell phone and keep conversations to a minimum.
Your Spa Experience
Your spa experience and comfort are of the utmost importance to us. Please communicate with your spa professional any details that can enhance your treatment; from depth of pressure, temperature or any matter that may arise.
