Guest Services Representative (PM)
On site /full or part-time
POSITION SUMMARY: | Guest Service Representatives play an important role as part of the resort’s Outside Guest Services Team and in hosting and caring for our Guests. Guest Service Representatives are responsible for being a source of information for Guests, monitoring the soaking experience, and responsibilities and roles include activities related to the upkeep, cleanliness, and oversight of the resort’s facilities and buildings. This position requires the ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions and requires working to late hours. Guest service Representatives serve in an important guest facing role in representing the resort’s standards in the care and safety of our Guests. Guest Service Representative duties and performance requires continuous activity that can be physically strenuous in nature. Guest Service Representatives work with other Outside Guest Service Teams and throughout the property as required. Guest Service Representatives are cross trained in all Outside Guest Services including Pool Cleaning and maintenance operations and may be assigned shifts in other Outside Guest Service roles or to support other property operations teams as assigned or directed. Outside Guest Service Representatives are also cross trained in Front Desk Operations. Guest Service Representatives are responsible to maintain quality standards, service processes and safety and sanitation standards in all circumstances and Team member and Guest encounters. Guest Service Representatives as part of the Outside Guest Services Team are responsible for maintaining the highest level of work and service standards related to the resort’s soaking services and upkeep of the resort’s outside and Soaking Guest facilities areas. Guest Service Representatives team members are responsible to maintain the physical safety and cleanliness of same areas. Responsible for the oversight and proper use of the resorts’ soaking, pool, water features, and grounds areas by Guests.
Ability to work in outside in all seasonal weather conditions and requires working into late night hours.
Continuous activity that can be physically strenuous in nature. The role requires frequent lifting and the care and operation of hand tools and cleaning tools. The role assists with pool, soaking tubs and water feature cleaning duties. |

Creates a safe soaking experience for adults and children through education and enforcement of the property’s rules, soaking etiquette and expectations for the safety and enjoyment of all Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa Guests. |

Water Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: | Water Technicians play an important role as part of the resort’s Outside Water Services Team and in ensuring the health and safety of our guests. Water Technicians are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and control of the resort’s water resources. This position requires the ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions and requires working early and late hours. Water Technicians serve an important role in representing the resort’s standards and health & wellness vision. Water Technician’s duties and performance require continuous activity that can be physically strenuous in nature. Water Technicians work with other Outside Guest Service Teams and throughout the property as required. Water technicians may be cross-trained in all Outside Guest Services including Pool Cleaning and maintenance operations and may be assigned shifts in other Outside Guest Service roles or to support other property operations teams as assigned or directed. Water Technicians are responsible to maintain quality standards, service processes, and safety and sanitation standards in all circumstances and Team member and Guest encounters. Pumphouse Operations- Responsible for the oversight and proper use of the resorts’ soaking, pool, water features, and wells. Responsible for the scheduling and implementation of maintenance work, filter cleaning, water testing, backwashing, etc. Help with any task as requested by upper management/supervisor. Responsible for maintaining inventory pars such as water chemicals, maintenance equipment, tools, and any other resources dedicated to the water operations.
Outdoor Operations- Enacts policies and procedures for pumphouse equipment including Pool filtration, Axiom, and Aquagen systems, plumbing, and mechanical assets. Operates backwashing filters, cleaning valves, operating well pumps, and maintenance/service all assets associated with the water operations.
